By GREG OLMSTED — On January 13, 2024, I snapped this photo of a father embracing his son and daughter in Washington, D.C. They were fortunate to be in the United States and not in Gaza because according to Wikipedia: “By late April 2024 it was estimated that Israel had dropped over 70,000 tons of bombs over Gaza, surpassing the bombing of Dresden, Hamburg, and London combined during World War II.” Most of these bombs were made by the United States and given to Israel. Israel then bombed homes, schools, hospitals, businesses, places of worship and destroyed Gaza. How many innocent men, women and children have died? Israel’s retributivism is barbaric, savage and cruel. Enough!
